Visuals and graphics are essential for most marketing and sales needs – and historically creating graphics for campaigns has been a time consuming and expensive endeavor. While many large companies employ agencies or have in-house designers for graphic needs, for most startups — graphic design isn’t part of the budget. While I suggest investing some money in the right logo, since that’s one of the first impressions for your brand, other graphics — from social media, to presentations to brochures — can be made online thanks to cloud-based tools and apps like Canva or Stencil. Today, I’m focusing on a Canva App Review.
Canva is an essential branding tool in my opinion. Both their web-based platform and mobile app make it easy to create basically any marketing document or graphic.? They’ve got over 60,000 different marketing templates — from presentations and posters, to marketing flyers, and social media templates. You can either start with a blank canvas or pick one of their templates and then go to town customizing select the different elements, change fonts, colors and text.
You can save your brand colors – like I have demonstrated in this video – so it’s really easy to customize your designs to match your brand style. Once you’ve got your final product, you can either download it to print or share or just use their interface to share it to your desired social media platform.
Canva has a free version that is quite robust, and their Pro version gives you access to more templates tens of thousands of stock photos, the ability to share and collaborate on designs with others and more.?
